2. Rake

Rakes are primarily used for removing surface debris and also breaking up and smoothening surface soil. There are two varieties of garden rakes, which are garden and lawn rakes. Each kind of rake has a specific purpose. Garden rakes usually have the ability of not only breaking up soil, but also making it smooth. Hence, these rakes help create a good area of planting. In general, garden rakes have sharp teeth for breaking up soil. The back area of a rake ought to be a bit flat to tamp down unwanted dirt. Yard rakes are the ones that are used during autumn to remove debris and leaves from the garden. You cannot plant seeds in an area that has not yet been cleared. The tender and young plants cannot grow through the twigs or decaying leaves.
