Human health is one vital element that enables man to basically do the things one desires to, within in one’s limitations and capabilities. While many people engage into activities that keep them constantly healthy and vibrant as they age, others find themselves enjoying the things that pose significant threat to their state of health. Of the many factors that direct many of the individuals to acquiring serious illnesses and diseases, there can be a variety of sickness that can develop. Two of which are ulcer and cancer. For some, these two bear no disparity but in actuality these diseases are variably distinct from each other.

Ulcers most commonly develop in the stomach, in which the lining eventually erodes and damages the layers that protect the organ. This can greatly be affected by several various factors such as increase in the production of acid in the stomach or other underlying problems are occurring from deep within. Cancer, on the other hand, can occur in various organs of the body. While there are also a variety of factors that trigger cancer cells to develop, the most significant is genetics.

Another disparity between cancer and ulcer is their gravity. While ulcers have the highest possibility of healing n their own, cancer needs adequate medical intervention that goes along with persistent lifestyle changes.

Apart from that, ulcer differs from cancer in the sense that the former can respond to treatments at an immediate pace whereas cancer can be grave and can impose no effectiveness among the treatments being given.

While cancer and ulcer bear distinction from one another, both are considered to be fatal once appropriate treatments are not sought. And one important fact that needs to be considered is that ulcers can develop to cancers if significantly ignored.
