The Nexus S and Galaxy SII are two Android powered phones. However, Galaxy S2 uses the 1.2GHz processor, while Nexus S runs a 1GHz processor. Besides this, the following are other differences between the two.
1. Galaxy S2
The thin Galaxy S2 is full of numerous advanced features. It has a 4.3” super AMOLED touch screen for displaying clear images. It also has a dual core 1GHz processor and 1GB RAM. Its internal memory is 16GB and it is also expandable with a memory card. For connectivity, Galaxy S2 has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support. It can also function like a beneficial mobile hotspot. There are two cameras featured on Galaxy SII, with the front one being 2MP and the rear one being 8MP. The back 8MP camera can take great quality images and record HD videos. With Android Gingerbread, Galaxy SII can process images quickly and produce a clear and appealing result.
The Galaxy S2 is expected to offer a brand new experience as a result of its advanced TouchWiz UI. Besides offering a great multimedia experience, Galaxy S2 also includes conference services for business enterprises.
2. Nexus S
Nexus S is a product of the collaborative effort from Google and Samsung to offer users the full Android Gingerbread experience. It is equipped with a 4 inch super AMOLED screen and 1GHz processor. Its rear 5MP camera can record 720p videos, while the other VGA camera at the front is designed for video calls. The device supports Wi-Fi, micro USB, NFC and Bluetooth. It is powered by an Android operating system and thus it offers access to the Android market. Here, users can download numerous applications and customize their phones.
Since Galaxy SII entered the market after Nexus S from Google, it is more advantageous as it has better features. Hence, you should purchase Galaxy SII if you want more functionality.
