Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Player are two astounding multimedia devices produced by Samsung. Lately, Samsung has released numerous smart phones and other devices like tablets to present a challenge to leading producers like Apple that has dominated this particular section with its iPods and iPads. As such, Galaxy Player was essentially aimed at countering the iPod Touch, whereas Galaxy Tab was created to compete with iPad 2. However, the Galaxy Player is close to a smart phone as it has the ability of making normal calls. The Galaxy Player has a 5 inch TFT LCD display along with a large 8GB internal memory, which is expandable to 32GB. It has two cameras and the rear camera has 3.2MP with flash and autofocus and a VGA in the front for enabling video chatting. It also allows people to make quality VOIP calls as it has Wi-Fi. Conversely, Galaxy Tab has a capacitive 7” TFT touch screen and has 16GB worth of internal storage. It has HSPDA and 3G connectivity, together with having Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. The small size of this tablet makes it ideal for one-handed use.
In multitasking, Galaxy Tab is better than Player 5 as users can play a game while still capturing a HD video. This benefit is made doable with a fast processor and 512MB RAM.
