Macbook Pro and Macbook are two Apple computers that are quite beneficial. You should study the main elements of these two laptops to determine which the best one to buy is. There are various ways in which the two differ besides only the prize. However, you should not that the Macbook Pro is more costly that the standard Macbook.

1. Processor

The Macbook features between I.8 GHz and 2 GHz processors, whereas Macbook Pro usually has 2 – 2.1 GHz duo core processors. This means Macbook Pro is significantly faster than Macbook. Furthermore, you can easily run several tasks simultaneously on the Macbook Pro.

2. Screen size

The Macbook has a smaller screen of 13 inches that also has a glossy screen. The Macbook Pro has a bigger screen of 15.4 inches, while another model has a larger 17 inch display. The benefit of Macbook Pro is that it offers the choice of either a glossy or matte widescreen display.

3. Disk space

Macbook Pro has more hard drive space than Macbook. Furthermore, it also has much more ports of expansion and it has the additional option of dual layer player. This means that you can store more information on Macbook Pro than Macbook.

4. Video card

Macbook Pro and Macbook also differ when it comes to video card. The standard Macbook depends mainly on its system RAM, while Macbook Pro comprises of a dedicated video card. Users of Macbook Pro will therefore be able to play heavy games on their machines.

5. Battery life

Macbook Pro has a better battery compared to the standard Macbook. Macbook only lasted for five hours, but Macbook Pro is expected to last for seven hours. This is the major reason why users are converting to Macbook Pro.
Lastly, the Macbook Pro is heavier than the standard Macbook by about 1.5 pounds.
