Difference between Human and Monkey

There are many findings and documentaries that portray a genetic relationship between humans and monkeys. Actually, archaeological expeditions continue to dig out primitive remains of humans that resemble the monkeys. The first thing that differentiates humans from monkeys is appearance. In this regard, monkeys are covered by fur all over their bodies and walk on all fours, while humans only use two legs when walking.

Humans are regarded like the superior of the two. Many people will agree that this is true. Humans have been provided with an increased level of intellect, creativity and knowledge. Humans also have the capability of adapting and reasoning. The capability of communicating in varying languages and creativity among numerous other things make humans unique in the world.

The simple fact that humans continue to invent new technological advances everyday speaks volumes about man’s intellect. In general, humans have better skills and tools that allow them to advance and survive.

In contrast, monkeys may have similar physical traits to people, but they differ greatly in several areas. For instance, language, skills and intellectual capacity are some of the main areas of differentiation. Monkeys only use an instinctive and crude intellect to ensure that they survive in the wild.

In context of relationships, humans have the ability of interacting and developing relationships for many purposes other than mating. In contrast, monkeys only seek to develop relationships when the mating season approaches. Thus, the main reason a male monkey will seek out another female is for mating only. However, humans can build relationships so as to build friendships and interact with each other.

Finally, monkeys live in the wild and consume wild fruits. However, humans live in houses and they eat processed or organic foods. The disparities between humans and monkeys are therefore very many. A simple method of differentiating the two is by stating that humans are more advanced than monkeys.
