The Galaxy S2 from Samsung and Sensation from HTC are two futuristic phones that have some interesting features. These two devices are similar in many ways. For instance, both of them have a 4.3” display, a dual core processor, 8MP camera and they also run Android Gingerbread. Besides these similarities, there are other differences between Galaxy S2 and HTC sensation as shown here.
1. Display
Galaxy S2 uses super AMOLED display to produce bright images. It can be effortlessly used even in daylight or outdoors. HTC Sensation, in contrast, uses QHD LCD display. The images here are also bright and watching movies and playing games is a pleasant experience.
2. Size
Galaxy S2 once again beats HTC Sensation when considering the overall size. In reality, Galaxy S2 is the slimmest phone produced by Samsung as it has a very slim body of only 8.49 millimeters. Conversely, HTC Sensation weighs 11.3 millimeters,, which is still quite slim.
3. Processor
Even though both devices use a dual core processor, there is a disparity in the type of processor used by each of these devices. Whereas HTC Sensation utilizes the Snapdragon CPU along with a GPU called Adreno 220, Galaxy S2 uses a CPU called Cortex A9. Moreover, Galaxy S2 is the faster device as it comes with 1GB RAM as compared to 768MB RAM of HTC Sensation.
4. Camera
Both devices have two cameras, with the back one being 8 megapixels. However, HTC Sensation only has a 1.2MP at the front as contrasted to Galaxy S2 that has a 2MP camera. The front camera enables users to make video calls easily or even perform video conferences.
The UI or user interface is also another differentiating factor of these two phones. HTC Sense is used in the HTC sensation, while TouchWiz is utilized in Galaxy S2.
