Life is bound to be surrounded by choices, ever since the existence of man. While man needs to choose whether to live and go through the various challenges that life is faced with, on a daily basis or to just let life take on and be careless, there are other important choices man cannot freely escape from. There are choices that are directly involved with the physical existence and this remains to be vital. However, moral issues also need to be addressed and this highly involves the option of whether to be good or to reside in evil.
In basic terms, good and evil are recognized to be the exact opposites of one another. Thus, it is unnecessary to query as to the existence of disparities because obviously the good and the evil are different from another.
For one, good is typically the attitude, character or virtue which holds on to what is morally accepted by the rules imposed by the law and more importantly by the rules imposed by the Almighty Creator. Evil, however, comes out in the absence of goodness thereby, creating negative notion and perception on the trials one’s life inevitably faces.
Apart from that, good and evil differ in how they build from. Goodness primarily comes from the ideal virtues of hope, charity and most of all, from love whereas evil builds up from anger , hate and negative perceptions on life.
More so, good and evil have distinct effects to the existence of mankind. In goodness, man is able to live in peaceful with oneself, others and with the Creator while in evil, harmony, peace and love is never recognized nor appreciated.
Man is given the knowledge to think. Therefore, it is a choice to live in goodness or in evil.
