Over the years, technology has evidently made a significant impact to the world. Aside from being able to utilize a wide variety of techniques and methods, advancing technology has provided more convenience and accessibility to the everyday living of mankind and the existence of all matter. In this light, it is quite not a wonder how technology can rapidly advance and develop into a more sophisticated approach. Two forms of technology that are more aptly preferred and utilized these days are CMDA and LTE. These two networks of technology are evidently utilized in the communications standards.
CMDA basically stands for code division multiple access while LTE is the abbreviated form for long term evolution. While these two are channels that facilitate radio communications to be highly effective, they differ in concept, use and impact.
In terms of basic concept, CDMA facilitates transmission of data or message that utilizes only one channel for communication to be transmitted. Despite having one communication, it has the utmost capacity of accommodating several users. Thus the name bears the terms multiple access. LTE, on the other hand, is the latest technological network that puts more focus on the advancing era, particularly on the advancements in the use of mobile communications.
While CDMA has gained popularity due to its impeccable impact to the third generation, LTE has already taken the throne as being the major influence of the fourth generation communication networks.
More so, CDMA and LTE differ in use. CDMA can be widely utilized without any aid of other existing technique while LTE depends on another network for it to accommodate large data at faster speed rates.
Today, despite being highly complex and quite confusing, these two networks have made a tremendous impact in today’s rapidly advancing technology.
